I Am ManPower Academy is a non-profit corporation that merges Academics and Athletics to create a culture in our youth to improve behavior.
Who We Are
We are a year round youth and community development program. Youth are engaged in mentoring, sports, arts, crafts and community events that create consistent safe spaces. We are a co-ed/co-curricular program engaged in introducing academics within athletes as a means to address community issues and youth delinquency.
Boys & Girls in Athletics
I Am ManPower Academy asked the question, “How do you get the youth to sit down and listen?” We recognize youth engaged in athletics are motivated and committed. Athletics leads youth to engage in the curriculum Athletics Economics.
Youth athletes learn through practice and repetition. Repetition is an educational tool and just like a basketball player will practice to improve their jump shot, we believe youth consistently engaged in productive and positive activities will result in improved behavior.

I Am ManPower Academy stands for people-powered unity. The collective power of utilizing resources from the community’s leaders, citizens, and local businesses builds up our community.
